God Mode explained: how a hero transforms mid-run
Bring the right weapons and perks into the same run and your hero can transform, once. Here is how the recipes work.
God Mode is a per-hero transformation. It is not a purchase or an unlock — it is something you assemble during a run.
How it works
Each hero has a recipe: a set of weapons and a set of perks. Bring enough of both into the same run and God Mode becomes available. It can be activated once per run.
Every hero has its own
The recipes differ, and so do the results. Captain Potato Panic becomes Pan God Potato; the heroes with their own transformations name them on their pages.
Building towards it
The practical advice is to stop treating perk choices as independent. Once you know which recipe you are working towards, the perk screen becomes a shopping list rather than a menu. The perk list shows every perk and how many times it can be stacked.
